You can raise funds for just about anything, barring any inappropriate content or illegal activities.
No, it’s completely free to create a campaign and accept donations. Crowdspire takes a small percentage of each donation to cover processing fees and and platform expenses.
Absolutely. When you sign up for an account, a Crowd (a.k.a. organization) is automatically created. You can create as many campaigns as you want as well as invite other members. You can also create multiple Crowds if you need to manage more than one group.
Dashboard
You can change your email address from the Profile tab in your dashboard. Once you change this, you'll need to use that email address to log in the next time you visit the site.
Campaigns
Reaching your goal is not required, and there are no penalties. All of the donations you receive belong to you.
The best way to get the word out about your campaign is through social media. You can connect your social media accounts through Crowdspire or share a link with your friends and family.
Contributors
Donors do not get charged extra beyond their donation amount. However, a percentage is taken from their donation to cover processing fees and platform expenses. Donors have the option to cover these fees so the total donation amount goes to your campaign.
Yes. If you receive any type of payment offline and want it to be reflected in your campaign total, you can add it in the admin tab of your campaign settings. No fees will be applied to these donations.
Yes, donors have the option to remain anonymous when they give a donation. This prevents their name from appearing on the public web pages. However, their information will be saved for admin purposes and visible to the campaign administrators.
Donation data can be exported as a CSV file with a click of a button under the Reports tab in the campaign settings view.
